1. Introduction

Scottify is a digital training log and analysis app for sport shooting. The app helps users document training activities, shooting series, shot placement, weapons, goals, maintenance and progress over time.

We respect your privacy and aim to be transparent about how personal data is handled.

2. What data we collect

Scottify may collect and store the following data when you use the app:

Account and profile data

• Name
• Email address
• Date of birth or age-related information, if provided
• Shooting hand/right- or left-handed setting
• Club information, if provided

Training and sport shooting data

• Activities and training sessions
• Dates and manually entered location/club/range information
• Weather and notes, if provided
• Shooting series, results, scores and distances
• Shot placement on target
• Grouping and analysis data
• Personal goals and progress
• License-related tracking information entered by the user

Weapon and maintenance data

• Weapon manufacturer, model, caliber and notes
• Weapon usage and logged shot counts
• Maintenance intervals and service notes
• License status or license-related information entered by the user

Optional files and images

• Weapon photos
• License documents or other documents uploaded by the user
• Other images or files the user chooses to add

Technical data

• User ID and authentication information needed to operate the account
• Basic app data needed for synchronization, offline functionality and security

Scottify does not intentionally collect:

• GPS or precise device location data
• Swedish personal identity numbers
• Payment card details
• Advertising identifiers for ad targeting
• Search history or unrelated behavioral tracking

If location information is entered in an activity, it is manually provided by the user and is not collected from the device GPS.

3. Why we collect this data

The data is used to:

• Create and manage your user account
• Store and synchronize your training log
• Show your shooting results and progress over time
• Analyze shot placement and grouping
• Track weapons, usage and maintenance
• Support personal goals and license-related tracking
• Provide offline functionality and later synchronization
• Ensure that users only access their own data
• Maintain security and prevent unauthorized access

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Storage and service providers

Your data may be stored locally on your device and on cloud-based servers used by Scottify.

Scottify uses backend and cloud services, such as Supabase, for authentication, database storage, file storage and synchronization. These service providers process data on our behalf to operate the app.

Data is protected using access control, authentication and encryption in transit. Some data may also be stored locally on your device to support offline use.

5. Data sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data may be processed by technical service providers that are necessary to operate the app, such as backend, authentication, storage and synchronization providers.

We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect the security of the service.

6. Account deletion and data deletion

You can request deletion of your Scottify account and associated data.

To delete your account, use the account deletion function in the app if available, or contact us at:

Please contact us from the email address connected to your Scottify account so we can verify the request.

When an account is deleted, associated personal data will be deleted unless we are legally required to retain certain information for a longer period.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, including if you are in the EU/EEA, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Request a copy of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

No digital service can guarantee complete security, but we work to protect your data and reduce risk.

10. Children

Scottify is not intended for children. The app is designed for sport shooting users and should not be used by children without applicable legal permission and supervision.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

11. Payments

If Scottify offers paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases in the future, payments may be processed by the relevant app store or payment provider. Scottify does not store payment card details.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
